Love's Undying Legacy

This week my grandmother would have been 100 if she were still living. I loved my grandmother very much. The first Catherine in our family, my grandmother was a strong women whose faith and love anchored our family.

Some of my fondest memories from childhood are in the kitchen with my grandmother. Living with my family until her death, I learned many things from her.  From how to bake a great pound cake to cleaning greens, but most of all how to lean and depend on God.

Widowed with three young girls, my grandmother supported her family against all odds. I am forever grateful for the legacy of love she left in our family.

  1. Your grandma sounds like an amazing woman. I know it couldn't have been easy raising children all on your own, especially in the time period she must've been a young mother. God is so good. <333

BTW, I really love the new blog layout :)

I've only been blogging for about a month. It's finally all coming together. I'm glad you like it.
