Edible Finger Paint: Soy-Free,Gluten-Free,Peanut-Free,and Dairy-Free

Catherine is almost fourteen months and I have tried several times to let her scribble with crayons. She loves it when we do this, however, she also loves to eat crayons. Searching for a safe alternative, I discovered edible finger paint. Listed below is the recipe I use. I hope you and your little one enjoys it as much as we do.

Edible Finger Paint (For each color)
2 Tablespoons of Corn Starch
4 Tablespoons of Water
Food coloring as desired

Combine and mix well.

  1. HAHA my little one loved to eat the crayons at that age too. They grow out of it ;). I bought my son a coloring book and market set at Target where the markers only work on the special paper (so he doesn't feel tempted to color on the walls or furniture). and btw she is absolutely adorable <3

  2. Emily, thank you. Your little one is precious also.

Catherine puts everything in her mouth. I can't wait till she grows out of this phase. Now that she has food allergies, we really have to be on her and keep things out of her mouth.
